Програма розвитку ООН надає громадськості повну інформацію про свої проекти, надану допомогу та діяльність. ПРООН вважає, що вільний доступ до такої інформації є ключовим компонентом щодо забезпечення ефективної взаємодії з нашими партнерами, включно з громадськістю, в процесах з людського розвитку.
ПРООН визнає, що високий рівень відкритості шляхом надання повної інформації про нашу діяльність тісно пов’язаний із забезпеченням подальшої підтримки наших дій, спрямованих на покращення людського розвитку.

Правова Угода

ПРООН розпочала свою діяльність в Україні у відповідь на офіційне звернення Уряду України за допомогою на користь українського народу. Уряд і ПРООН у дусі дружнього співробітництва уклали Угоду, яка містить основні умови, відповідно до яких ПРООН надаватиме Уряду допомогу у виконанні його проектів розвитку і відповідно до яких проекти, що виконуються за допомогою ПРООН, будуть втілюватись. Положення цієї Угоди слугують основним правовим документом, що регламентує діяльність ПРООН в Україні. Угода була підписана Міністром закордонних справ України та Постійним представником ПРООН 18 червня 1993 року.

	Second extention of the Country Cooperation Framework for Ukraine, April, 2001 The first CCF addressed the difficulties that Ukraine encountered in the recent period, marked by three major transitions: (a)the establishment of a law-governed state; (b) the development of civil society; and (c) economic change based on market principles. The CCF outlined a wide range of programme interventions aimed at mitigating the negative impact of the transition and at strengthening of the capacity of the Government and civil society.
