UNDP in Ukraine

Many of us might be sick of "reforms" as such. Yet, we all want to have a fair trial when going into court. We don't want to experience any dignity humiliation. We want to be sure that the court acted in accordance with the law when loosing our case.

Working with the Ukrainian Government, UNDP implements a ‘Millennium Development Goals' Project. Moreover, United Nations Development Programme, being part of UN Agencies in Ukraine, closely cooperates with them and coordinates MDGs achievement process.

Kyiv, Ukraine, 16 April 2008 -International experts, government executives from Eastern Europe, business leaders, think-tanks and NGOs shared the experiences of poverty alleviation and social inclusion through multilateral partnerships at an international conference organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Recognising the need to promote community-based development in Ukraine and raise public awareness about the opportunities of this approach across Ukraine, UN Development Programme has released a documentary film entitled “A Step Ahead: How Ukrainian Communities Are Helping Themselves”.
